Winter Running

First Practice: Tuesday, December 3rd

Winter Training - Winter training is a great opportunity to build a solid base and endurance, whether you are deciding to run track or compete in a different sport. For the most part, we will have practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:15-4:30. Depending on Holidays and Staff Meetings, dates may change so please click on the Winter Running Practice Schedule for exact practice dates. Please meet in Mr. Ozeni's room to drop off your bag.

As mentioned in the letter, we will plan to run outside at every practice so it is very important that all runners come prepared with the right gear to run in the cold weather. Runners should plan on wearing gloves, a knit hat, leggings/long pants, and a jacket.

Although, we only run together on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for you to excel in track, you should be running on other days. Below is a link to the full training schedule leading up to the Spring track season.
